I'm A "Do-It-Yourself" Type, Need Landscape Design & Plant Advice

You love getting your hands in the dirt and your garden is a labor of love. Or your budget simply demands that you provide the labor. But a little no charge guidance with design ideas, info on how to prepare your beds, and plant choices would be great.  This is the option for you!  Gather the following information: 

• some snap shots of the area you want work on
• a copy of your plat plan if you have it
• note how the sun moves across your area during the day
• how many hours of direct sun or shade it receives during the day (this will change between winter and summer so note where due North is)
• any special desires, needs, or concerns 

We will help you decide on a theme or general look for your garden, make a sketch, explain soil and bed prep needs, and help you select plants that will achieve the look you want while minimizing ongoing maintenance chores.  

Call the nursery to schedule a time slot Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 10:30AM. Call early, time slots book quickly!  Or simply come by and a nursery staff member will help you if its not too busy. Often we can sketch it that day and get you started right away.  During the spring and fall seasons we can be quite busy and an appointment is necessary. Please understand that during these times there is a lead time of up to 10 days before we have time to work up a sketch for you.  Good news! There is no charge for this service.
